Andreas Bromba
Andreas Bromba lives in Berlin as a photographer as well as an installation and conceptual artist. Through his art, he depicts the unfathomable aspects of life.
His works are usually created in series—born from a fascination with forms, silence, and the hidden within the everyday.
He was shaped early on by his art education studies with a focus on photography in Frankfurt/M. (1989/90), training in fashion graphics at the Frankfurt School for Fashion, Graphics & Design (1990/91), and studies in art history at the University of Hamburg (1992–95). Andreas Bromba developed a distinctive visual language between documentary, portrait, and conceptual photography.
Well-known series such as berlin minimal, “Stadt von unten,” the Blue Series, and the Mystical Series have earned him a solid collector base and numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally over the years.

With the installation works of Deutsche Industrie-Romantik, he portrays modern humanity in its fragility—as members of the technology and information age who nevertheless strive to be self-determined. An extensive, self-contained concept with multiple levels (“cycles”) has emerged.
